The Wreathed hornbill with body length of 75-100 cm. Males weigh from 1.8 kg to 3.65 kg and females weigh from 1.36-2.7 Kg. Males can be easily distinguished from females by the color of their throats. The male’s throat skin is yellow; the female’s is blue. Females are smaller than males.
Evergreen forests North-eastern India and Bhutan, Southeast Asia and the Greater Sundas.

Meting behavior of wreathed hornbill. Similar to other types of birds, lay 1-2 eggs. The male hornbill feeds the female and the chicks through a narrow slit for about five to six months.
